Hard to believe but we’re approaching the end of the year already. Whether your marketing plan is on a calendar or fiscal year, there are some things that all technology marketers should be looking at in the October-December timeframe.
- October. Plan your holiday activities. Whether you’re doing a simple e-card or a full campaign, there’s no time like the present to get this in order. (Although you really should have done this in July!) For tips on creating your holiday campaigns, view our blog.
- November. Go back through this past year’s blogs and create a “best of” eBook or article. For example, if your blog has included tips, tricks and workarounds, that would be a great year-end thank you eBook for your customers. A compilation of industry trends and issues would be a great piece to use in your content marketing to prospects. Don’t have enough compelling blogs? Use this time to re-think your blog strategy and topics and file this tip for next year.
- December. Look ahead. The most read, shared and searched for pieces are those predicting trends and issues for the coming year. Plan a series of blogs or other pieces (such as articles) to address the year ahead. Not sure you have the industry expertise to provide this?
